So, there’s a naming post on my dash. As a result, here’s my question for anyone reading this. What other names were considered for you/did you narrowly escape?
Apparently Taylor was one of my mom’s choices for me, and if I had been born a male I could have been Demetri! I’m really quite happy I ended up with Chelsea.
If I was a boy, I would have been Christopher. As it is, I’m a girl and I was named after my dad…. go figure.
If I was a boy, my name would have been Joseph, which is my younger brother’s name. My parents also considered Jessica and Erica (very glad I did not get the latter for reasons) as girl names. I was close to being named Natalie, but my parents thought “Natalie Nelson” did not sound right. And so I became Cynthia and I’m pretty happy with it. minus the forever a virgin part.
